Changes to Canadian Family Law 1 Hour

In the past year, Canada’s Divorce Act has undergone significant revisions related to how parenting decisions are made. These changes are similar to what already existed in some provincial legislation as well as the new legislation in Ontario, and it is likely that, over the next few years, the legislation in most if not all Canadian jurisdictions will align with respect to parenting provisions.

This webinar will look at the new language used for parenting arrangements, the best interests of the child test and definition of family violence that are now included in the Divorce Act, and how these changes may impact your work as a supervised visitation service provider.
