We know if we really want to make a difference, we have to create space to take care of ourselves and build our resilience – our capacity to respond to the pressure and the demands of daily life. Christina Coultas has been working as an advocate and activist to end violence against women for over 18 years. She joined the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault (TAASA) in 2016 as a Non-Profit Leadership Specialist building on her experience managing programs, leading staff, and navigating the non-profit world of victim services. Christina specializes in working with non-profit leaders and boards to support their work in building robust agencies.

Christina is an active member of the coordinated community response to violence against women in the Dallas area and serves on multiple coalitions. She is a founding board member of the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center and served on the board until 2015, a past board President of the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault, and is currently sitting on a board as Past President for the Supervised Visitation Network, Intl. Christina also serves as an expert witness and has testified in both domestic violence and sexual assault cases. She has served as faculty for The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and serves in a consultant capacity for the Office on Violence Against Women. Christina holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Texas
