Human trafficking is the fastest-growing criminal industry in the world where people of all ages are exploited- but commonly, the victims are children and youth. Most victims of CSEC experience multiple forms of abuse and are often in some form of relationship with their trafficker- usually familial. As professionals who work with victims of child abuse and/or domestic violence, we may be missing opportunities to intervene. This course aims to equip professionals and advocates working in various sectors with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to respond to CSEC effectively.
