In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, SVN is pleased to invite members to a FREE training on the Intersection of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse. This training is provided by Megan Valdez, the Director of Community Outreach at Hope's Door New Beginning Center in Garland, TX. The training will provide an overview of domestic violence, discuss the impact that witnessing domestic violence has on children, and provide ways to support parents who have experienced domestic violence.
